Gorgeous map card of Florida. It's been way too many years since my last visit. I think it's time to start planning a family vacation.

Walt Disney World, Florida

Mickey and Minnie Mouse on the Dumbo ride at Walt Disney World. One of my favorite places to vacation in the USA. My older twins have been several times. Bowen and Kayleigh haven't been yet. But Bowen has been begging to go and at almost 4 they are just the right age. It's truly a magical place to share with your kids.  I can't wait to make new Disney memories with these two.

Venice, Florida

How gorgeous is this photo? I love the colors of the sky at sunset. I can imagine finding a comfy spot on the pier to relax and watch Mother Nature put on a show.

Venice, Florida has been listed in many publications as being the "Shark's Tooth Capital of The World". It hosts an annual festival, the Shark's Tooth Festival, every year to celebrate the abundance of fossilized shark's teeth that can be found on its coastal shores. One of these days I'd love to take the kids here so they can find some teeth of their own or at least give it a good try.

We traded with another postcard fanatic in the forums at Postcrossing    I let my son look through their albums of available cards to see what caught his eye. When it came in the mail he ran around waving it and showing everyone!

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A view looking north along the Fort Lauderdale Beach. One of our first shaped postcards. I really love the flowers in the upper corner. They add a nice splash of color.
